Impulsion Global Game Jam Game

Last week I participated in Global Game Jam 2013. I’m always excited to meet new people, and spend a weekend coming up with a new game. For this game jam, I worked with 3 talented students from Depaul and IADT. We completed a game demo for this year’s theme: Heartbeat.

Our interpretation of the theme led to the creation of Impulsion. The game is a platformer where the player must fight his way out of a coma. The main character is a soul, trapped in his own body. He must use chromosomes to fight antibodies, and restart his heart. You can play the game here:
